We added Robinhood Chain to the processing. That makes 19 blockchains in one dashboard, and we haven't seen another crypto payment processor support it yet.
What is Robinhood Chain?
Robinhood created its own blockchain network, and launched the mainnet on July 1, 2026. It runs on the Arbitrum Orbit platform, settles to Ethereum, and uses ETH as a transaction fee. There is no separate token. Block time is 100 milliseconds. The test network processed over 200 million transactions before mainnet opened, which is far more than a new network usually sees before launch.
The chain was designed for tokenized stocks and real-world assets. Robinhood distributes stock tokens on it in more than 120 countries, and Uniswap and Chainlink were integrated from day one.
What your customers can actually pay with
The default dollar on Robinhood Chain is USDG (the Global Dollar) and it was the first stablecoin natively issued on the network when mainnet opened on 1 July 2026.
Paxos issues it, backed 1:1 by cash and US Treasuries with monthly reserve attestations. Behind it sits the Global Dollar Network, a consortium whose founding members include Kraken, Galaxy, Anchorage Digital, Nuvei, Paxos and Robinhood itself. USDG runs about $3.23 billion in total market cap across all chains.
USDG held roughly 68% of the chain's stablecoin supply in July, and the chain's stablecoin pool grew to around $575 million by early August. Robinhood's Earn product lends it out through Morpho vaults at a target near 7% APY.
The practical part for a merchant. Enabling this chain and offering only USDT would be a mistake, because that's not where the liquidity sits. A customer holding funds on Robinhood Chain is most likely holding USDG.
Gas is paid in ETH – the chain has no token of its own and there's no airdrop.
Why we added it fast
We check new blockchain networks every day, but we usually ignore most of them because they're often just short-lived hype. Robinhood Chain was different, though – the network was backed by a brand that people outside the cryptocurrency community already knew, and a mainnet had launched. People started to trade for real money during the first week.
When a chain gets this much attention, merchants start asking about it before the ecosystem catches up. We prefer to already have the answer.
Robinhood Chain also attracts an audience different from the typical L2 user base – these are people who entered the cryptocurrency space through a brokerage app rather than a DEX. For merchants in the iGaming, forex, and e-commerce sectors, this is a group it's definitely worth accepting payments from.
What you get:
- Payments on Robinhood Chain through the same API, payment links, buttons, and invoices
- Automatic conversion to stablecoins at settlement through VRCS, so volatility stays off your balance
- Real-time AML and KYT
- One dashboard for 85+ coins across 19 chains
- 0% fee on crypto withdrawals
Nothing actually changes in your integration if you're already live with us.
